What does your cruise fare include? 

Surprisingly, there are many passengers who really aren’t sure what’s included when they book a cruise. 

The same amenities are basically included by all major cruise lines.  

Here is a list of what you should typically expect to be provided. 

INCLUDED

Your cruise price includes a beautiful cabin of your choice with daily cleaning. Your cabin steward will provide the cleaning service, ice, and fresh linens daily.

If you need anything, have questions, or find something wrong, it’s best to talk to cabin steward right away. If your issue isn’t resolved quickly go to guest services.

You will have all of the basic amenities like shampoo, soap, body wash.  Your cabin has a television, safe, usually a mini-fridge, hairdryer, and plenty of compact storage.

Meals in the main dining room and lido buffet are included in your fare. Other venues, such as pizza, BBQ, and deli sandwiches, are also complimentary. There are some specialty dining venues that require an extra charge. However, you can easily eat all times of the day for no extra charge. We seldom ever pay for any extra food choices. 

Drinks included are coffee, tea, milk, lemonade, iced tea, with juice in the mornings. 

Entertainment is available throughout the ship. It includes Broadway-style shows, music, theater movies outside on the giant screen, games, and comedy shows.

Many activities like a sports court, mini-golf, sky ride, ropes course, water park/ slides are all typically included. 

Youth programs with beautiful and creative activity centers are included. The staff for these programs are highly trained and are often college graduates specializing in youth education. The cruise lines also have specialized staff training in autism awareness and sensory or special needs. The programs are divided by age and offer different experiences and centers for each age group. Having these included kids clubs makes it easier to include even the youngest members of your family.
