WHAT QUALIFIES AS A GROUP?

For most cruise lines, a group typically consists of 8 or more cabins being booked under a single reservation. This usually translates to 16 or more passengers. Some cruise lines offer group perks for smaller groups. These can include groups with 5-7 cabins. However, the standard group threshold is generally 8 cabins. When booking 8 or more cabins, the group organizer receives a tour conductor credit. This is usually in the form of check after the cruise.

As a travel agent I love helping my groups with advertising, management, and organizing! The cruise lines offer specific amenity points to the travel agent. I give all the points back to my clients as onboard credits and gifts. My last group received an additional $100 OBC, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for each cabin!
