Carnival Cruises includes a wide variety of food and dining options in your cruise fare. You won’t go hungry even without paying extra!

Here’s a full breakdown:

Included Dining Options

Main Dining Room (MDR) – FREE

  • Open for breakfast, sea day brunch, and dinner.
  • Features rotating menus nightly.
  • Choose “Your Time Dining” or a set time (early/late).
  • Table service, multi-course meals.


Lido Marketplace Buffet – FREE

  • Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late snacks.
  • Hot dishes, salads, desserts, and more.
  • Self-serve or served by staff (depending on ship & policy).
  • Omelet stations
  • Self serve ice cream

Here’s what’s included for free at Guy’s Pig & Anchor on Carnival ships:

Complimentary Lunch (on Sea Days & Embarkation)

  • BBQ buffet featuring:
    • Hickory-smoked meats (pork butt, beef, chicken, sausage)
    • Southern-style sides (mac & cheese, slaw, baked beans, collard greens, potato salad)
  • Guy Fieri’s signature BBQ sauces and hot-sauce bar included  

“Guy’s Pig and Anchor Bar‑B‑Que Smokehouse is included in the cruise fare… completely complimentary” 

Dinner Experience (Varies by Ship)

  • On Celebration, Jubilee & Mardi Gras, dinner is included with cruise fare:
    • Core menu items are free
    • Premium items (e.g., full rack of ribs, prime rib) may carry a small charge  

Room Service

A complimentary continental breakfast is offered from 6 AM to 10 AM each day (excluding the last cruise day), featuring fruit, cereals, pastries, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juices.


To order you need to dial #8000 on your stateroom phone. If you call the night before it will be delivered at your specific time in the morning. Just tip a $ or two! No charge for continental items.

Special Treats – Also Free

• Afternoon snacks like cookies, pastries, and cakes at the Lido buffet.

• Chocolate buffet (on some longer sailings).

• Tea time on select days (with small sandwiches & desserts) in the MDR.

Kids Menu Options

Kids can always order from a special menu with:

  • Chicken tenders
  • Mac & cheese
  • Mini burgers
  • Pasta
  • Ice cream

Tips to Maximize Included Dining

  • MDR offers the best variety and service.
  • Don’t miss Sea Day Brunch (only on sea days).
  • You can mix & match—buffet for lunch, MDR for dinner.
  • Order multiple appetizers or desserts in the MDR—no extra charge!

They do cost extra.
